A Royal Visit
We were honoured and thrilled to welcome Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, to the Cookery School on 18th February as part their private visit to our family business, Bettys and Taylors.
Their visit coincided with our Young Chef Pasta course where children were learning how to make Ravioli, Tagliatelle and Carbonara sauce. It didn’t take long before the Royal couple were joining in and having a go at rolling out pasta for themselves, expertly guided by Chris Taylor, one of our Course Tutors. With good humour The Duchess of Cornwall remarked that her pasta was much thinner than that of her husband’s!
The Royal couple also enjoyed chatting with the young chefs about their interest in food and were introduced to all of our tutors who proudly shared so much of what makes us a unique and special cookery school.
